There are many ways to get involved at StAC. Whether you want to meet new people, take part in mid-week prayer or weekend services, or make a difference in the local community, our ministries offer friendly ways to love each other, love God, and love Hove.

Home Groups

Building relationships, faith, and community beyond Sundays

Home Groups are smaller gatherings that meet during the week to build friendships, explore faith, pray together, and support one another through everyday life. They are a key way to grow deeper connections at St Andrew’s and help make a larger church feel more personal and relational.

Anyone is welcome to join us for chat, bible study and prayer.

Care & Support

Walking alongside one another in practical and compassionate ways.

 

These ministries offer care during times of need, providing simple, meaningful support that reflects our commitment to living out faith in everyday life.

Children & Youth

Helping kids and youth grow, belong, and explore faith.

We care deeply about children and young people feeling known, safe, and valued. These ministries support them through age-appropriate worship, teaching, and activities within the life of the church.

 

Includes:

 

  • The Crèche (pre-reception)

  • The Message (reception to Year 7)

  • STACY G (Youth Year 8+)

Worship & Music

Serving together in our gathered worship services.

These ministries support our Sunday services through music, prayer, readings, and technical support, helping create worship that is thoughtful, accessible, and rooted in our Anglican tradition.

 

Includes:

 

  • Adult Choir (Thurs rehearsals)

  • Children’s Choir (Thurs rehearsals)

  • Tech Team (Sound & Visuals)

  • Bible Readers

Stewardship 
(Buildings, Grounds, Heritage & Governance)

Caring for our spaces, resources, and overseeing church life

 

These behind-the-scenes ministries look after buildings, grounds, and governance, ensuring St Andrew’s remains a well-cared-for place for current and future generations.

  • Clean Team / Sort-It Saturdays

  • Garden Team

  • PCC (Parochial Church Council)
