Easter Eve (for all ages!)
We start around the fire outside with a song. Then everyone is encouraged to take a candle into the church and light the other candles inside to spread the light. The rest of the service is a chance to sing and to hear the Easter Story.

You know that ‘hushed excitement’ feeling you can get when the lights go down in a Christingle service and the candles are lit? Or that sense of anticipation when you’re on the night before something big…that’s what the Easter Eve service captures.
We start around the fire outside with a song. Then everyone is encouraged to take a candle into the church and light the other candles inside to spread the light. A symbol of the light of the world, the new dawn, the resurrection we celebrate the following morning.
In the service we’ll sing, we’ll hear the Easter story…the heart of all our celebrations, and we’ll leave with excitement mounting for the celebrations in the morning!
