Welcome to The Message!

A fun, gentle faith-filled Sunday program for kids reception to Year 7.

Your children can enjoy an interactive Sunday morning experience while learning about the christian faith in a safe, gentle, friendly environment. Children start the service with their parents, then head over to the church hall after the second song to join our Message volunteers for fun, creative, and faith-based activities.

Who can attend the Message?

Children in Reception through Year 7

Visitors are always welcome!  A parent/carer must accompany their child to provide name, date of birth, carer details, and relevant medical or emergency information.

Regular attenders are fully registered once.  Each year we will ask parents to verify / update their information via our My Church Suite app.

Younger children (pre-reception) are welcome to join as long as one parent or carer to stays with them, as space is limited.  We will need to collect information about both the child and the carer.

When and where is The Message?

Time: Sunday mornings (term-time) during the main service.  See dates.

Meeting Point: Kids meet The Message volunteers at the main entrance after the second song - before the sermon.

Location: Church hall

What Happens in The Message

Age-Appropriate Activities: Children start at a table with peers to enjoy arts, crafts, colouring sheets, activity pages, LEGO, and more. They are joined by our adult and youth Message leaders.

Interactive Bible Story: After about 20 minutes, everyone gathers together for a fun and engaging story from the Bible and then we finish with prayer.

Return to Service: Kids rejoin their parents in the main church for communion and the end of the service.  They are escorted back to church by our Message volunteers.

Safeguarding & Checking-in

All children must be officially registered and checked-in to participate.

Registration ensures our safeguarding policies are followed and allows us to care for children safely and appropriately.

Parents and carers of visitors also need to provide essential information on arrival for their child’s safety and wellbeing.
